MEMBERS OF CARMEL LAW FIRM RECOGNIZED BY IBA FOR PRO BONO SERVICE
CARMEL, IN –– Attorneys and staff of Jocham Harden Dimick Jackson, PC were recognized by the Indianapolis Bar Association for their commitment to pro bono service in 2008.
Attorneys Stephenie Jocham, Holly Wanzer, Elisabeth Edwards and Laura Holt were listed in the IBA 2008 Hall of Fame along with paralegal Amber Small for their volunteer service to the Ask A Lawyer program. Ask a Lawyer is one of a number of programs coordinated by the Indianapolis Bar Association providing free or low-cost legal advice to Marion County residents who cannot afford legal assistance. Attorney Holly Wanzer was also recognized for her time answering calls on the IBA Legal Line. Members of the Indianapolis Bar Association include attorneys, judges, paralegals and law students who volunteer their time to provide pro bono legal services, using their skills to benefit the less fortunate. According to the Indianapolis Bar Association, the value of the time volunteered by members is more than $1 million.
Stephenie Jocham is a founding member of the Carmel based law firm, and focuses her practice in collaborative law, mediation and arbitration in both domestic and civil cases. Wanzer, Edwards and Holt are attorneys in the firm’s Family Law section, and all have been actively involved in pro bono service and volunteerism over the course of their legal careers.
